I can honestly give all of my credit to San Francisco State and the incredible professors that have helped me find my voice and figure out my passions in life. Below is a closer look at the work I have created, jobs I have been given, and experience and memories I have created along this journey. I am beyond thankful for the help I have been given to help me realize my potential for future careers.

I came into this program being scared of standing in front of a camera reporting and scared of asking too many questions. My classmates and professors helped me to realize it was okay for me to not know the answer to everything. With that, I learned more about myself than just how to operate a camera and control room.

I have learned that I am interested in every aspect of filming, production, and media. It is as if I can pretend to be someone else for the time being. I write a script and begin filming in this alternate reality that I created. Even if I didn't create the story, being apart of this fantasy for someone else is so thrilling to me. I have done a few in studio interviews and I love the reactions I get from my guests when they see this side of me. I am a different person when I am in the BECA department than when I am out on the streets. I express myself so much more and I am so thankful for this program giving me the opportunity to do so.
